Thought I'd ask to see if this would work with my 383 stroker motor I'm wanting to build was thinking these headers http://m.summitracing.com/parts/hed-68460 with this cat back system http://www.bestinauto.com/Magnaflow-...Rear-Exit.aspx. I'm wanting to wrap the headers my exhaust is shot. I post a question about long tubes vs shortys but more and more I read I'm leaning to long tubes. This system will be swaped to go with a 383 stroker im working on gettin started building. I'm goin to have a shop build the y pipe from what the said I'll be looking about 200 for it so I'll be in to this system for right at 700.

 

How are you going to connect the headers to the catback?

 

Shop near me quoted 200 for the y pipe.

 

Ok, how are they going to connect longtubes to a catback? Have they ever seen the underside of a thirdgen before?

 

Not sure called them and told the guy what I had and needed done.he said be about 200 to connect the headers to the catback. But with your responce I'm guessing that this idea might not work. And that I need to call another exhaust shop......
