Welcome aboard,
You can't go wrong with either Hooker or Flowmaster. I like the Hooker more, sound clip of it is in my signature.
What motor do you have in it? just wonderin.
oh yeah, be sure to get some headers too, that will help the exhaust flow and sound enormously.

Hooker flows well, is cheap and sounds great. I would suggest them, but some people prefer flowmaster, but they're a bit more exspensive. Either of those would be a good choice though, it just depends on your personal preference.

I really like my hooker and so do all of my friends. Its not too loud but when you get on it, it sounds really sweet.

Alright, thanks for the responses, I did like the sound of that Hooker system. Also if anyone knows of some low cost (below $600) performance upgrades feel free to let me know of them.

For 600$ you can get some high quality headers to complete that exhaust. You can get some uncoated SLP headers, pretty much the best you can buy, but they are way overpriced. But if you got 600$ to burn you can afford them. Or you could get the hooker headers to match the hooker catback. Last I checked the hooker super comp shorties coated direct from JET-HOT are like 480$.

Regarding the exhaust, I don't know where in NH you live, but in Mass, I'm about 20 min. from a very popular exhaust shop in Kingston. It's called 'Lou's. http://www.louscustomexhaust.com/locations.html
Right near Lou's, in Plaistow, is another popular custom place: 'Skips'. He has a background in pro drags and usually has a few of those on premises. Here's directions: http://relistr.com/mechanic/113360/S....New.Hampshire
My car came with a Dynomax system that flows and sounds good to me.

If I had a dollar for every time I have seen a post like this on every forum frequent, I would be a rich man. Using the search function helps a lot. Lots of sound clips are also available as a resource in one of the stickys I believe.
Whats your set-up? Engine? Budget? Preference? Legal or not legal? ect...There are a ton of different ways you can go.
I personally have a heavy cammed 355 9.58:1 CR, hooker comps to a custom 4" straight through exhaust out the rear. It sounds bad *** but very loud.
Hooker makes nice affordable headers. A set of hookers to a hooker Y to a custom mandrel bent 3" exhaust to a 3" single in/single out muffler out back is what I would do.
GMMG system also sounds pretty nice
