Hey im getting ready to swap out my lg4 for a old 70's motor with im guessing 70's heads.

Someone told me my lg4 exhaust manifolds (stockers) will not fit on the new motor. If they fit I know it will be terrible flow but cant afford headers yet.

Will they fit or not?

Keep your LG4 heads.

 

the will "fit", but you won't be able to put a bolt in the rear bolt on the passenger side since the older heads won't have a tapped hole there. people have run them without that bolt, with varying degrees of success- you will have the best luck if you have a good low restriction exhaust after the manifolds so there isn't any backpressure that's seeking the easiest path out, which would cause a leak there... those manifolds are junk, anyways, so get some headers.
