y pipe question

y pipe question
how do you remove the cat from the y pipe? and also on my engine manifolds the y pipe connects to the manifolds using 3 mounting studs off. and the new y pipe i got only connects using two studs. if there anyway i can pull the rotating connector off my new y pipe and add my old ones?

How can I exchange the the roatating assembly's on the pipes though?

Cut and weld if you have no welder you can get it all ready and take it to a muffler shop.
