Dual Cat Question
Alright, so a while back I purchased the dynomax dual exhaust for my 87 camaro. Recently I moved to a state which requires a visual emissions inspection, so it turns out that now I need catalytic converts to pass. There is no way I can fit dual catalytic converters in the pipes, since they are inches away from each other and two cats won't fit side by side.
So I stumbled upon another option. I have 2.25" pipes, so I was thinking if I used a few of these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-41953/overview/ welded onto one of these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mpe-94008/overview/ it would probably be enough to satisfy the emissions people, wouldn't restrict flow too horribly, and might actually fit in the space that I have. Does this seem like a sane option? Is there a better option?
