EGR pipework
Hey all,
My '88 IROC-Z has just developed a bad leak from the passenger side EGR connection from the manifold.
I need to order a new part ASAP as she's my daily driver - does anyone know the part number for the plumbing there?
I've attached pics just to illustrate what's going on - the hose clips are a patch by the previous owner, but now the black rubber seal to the piping on the exhaust manifold has given up too.

Re: EGR pipework
looks like its the check valve leaking, the air pump pushed air past the check valve into the exhaust. The check valve keeps the hot exhaust gasses from destroying the air pump and diverter valve.

Cheers! That's a huge help for the valve - the plumbing I'm after isn't on the manifold side, it's the rest that runs off back to the EGR on the engine block.

Re: EGR pipework
the egr ? The egr on a tpi is fed through a port in the head through the intake manifold to the egr that's under your plenum. The pictures you posted are of the air pump system.

Re: EGR pipework
Sorry - that's my mistake! I'm confused between the EGR and AIR system. Apologies.Yes - the AIR system coming off the exhaust manifold. The tubes on the manifold itself are fine, it's the section after that valve that runs off to the block somewhere.
