header problems

Car: 1986 Pontiac trans am
Engine: L69 305 H.O.
Transmission: Norg werner T5
header problems

I'm ordering a set of shorty headers flowtech 1 and it says i have to Modify Stock Exhaust To Retain Catalytic Converter? and i don't really know what that means or what that involves and needing a little help because my cat is cut out and i have a 3" pipe wielded in to replace it so i need to know what to do now?

It likely just means you'll need a new Y pipe.

ok thanks i been trying to order a set that comes with a y pipe from o'rielys but it says the same thing on it
