help with header bolts

Car: 1991 Z28, 350TPI and 1977 Trans Am
Engine: 5.7
Transmission: auto
Axle/Gears: 3.23
help with header bolts

does anyone have a solution to keep the header bolts tight? i have used lock tight and replaced them for a suppoed better bolt but they keep comming loose! any ideas?

91 Z28 5.7 with aluminum heads, headman headers.

Re: help with header bolts

I use 1" long header bolts with anti-sieze on the threads and a felpro 1404 or 1405 or 1406 gasket.

The bolts I use are stainless ARP 12pt. I buy 2 intake bolt sets and use the smaller headed bolts for the headers.

I do not have a problem with them coming out at all.
