NEED HELP! Simple exhaust swap not so simple!
I bought a full exhaust system for my 88 IROC off a guy from here who had it on his 87. I got my old stock system off, but now im in a bit of a pickle. Had my buddy come in and give me a hand. Ended up pulling out the AC system, (Which was going to come out at some point anyways) and the AIR system, (Also meant to come out). But now im sitting with my car in the air, and no idea how to route the belt without the smog or AC pumps. I found something on removing the smog pump, but it didnt say anything about the remvoving the ac pump. This may not belong in the exhaust thread, but i figured A. maybe someone else is thinking of doing the same and and will read this and know what to expect a little better than i did. And 2. I dont know where else to put it. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. ASAP too please!

They have A/C compressor delete pulleys for your camaro: http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/...FQVV4Aoda1IAEw
that should do what you need. Just bolt in place and run the belt like normal

Yes i seen that article. Im having trouble though because It says it reqires different routing and a longer belt. But the pictures are showing the same routing i have now, just not going around the smog pump. Also it turns out i need a dummy pulley from the sounds of it.
