Will Edelbrock Headers for 89-92 fit my 88
I found an awesome deal on Edelbrock EDL-68763 Headers and Y pipe.
I have a 1988 L98 Iroc. I was told by edelbrock that these wont fit at all since the Y pipe and Emissions(Air?) is different. Is this true? It looks like it is if I am looking at the Edelbrock Y pipe.
But the Y pipe on my 91 Z and 88 Iroc look identical.
So are all year headers and Y pipes with AIR interchangable? With the exception of dual cat cars.

The headers will fit, the question is Will the Y pipe fit and that will depend on if it is for a dual cat or single cat system..... however that is the easy part that any exhaust shop can handle.

Ok cool if the headers fit I might buy them. The y pipe looked like it was for a dual cat setup. It wasn't actually a Y pipe. Just two outlets that connected from the headers to the cat(s).

My question now is that;
Say I installed the headers and pipes that connected to the collector. Will there be enough space between the end of the end of the two pipes and my singe cat for an exhaust shop to build a "y pipe" that connects to my cat?
