GMMG exhaust

I just bought a GMMG exhaust off of a 99 Camaro to put on my 85 IROC. I know I need the 4th gen exhaust brackets, but I can't seem to find the correct ones. I just keep finding universal ones that look like junk. Any suggestions or pics of where I can find good mounts that will bolt right in my IROC? Thanks in advance!

Re: GMMG exhaust

I bought mine new and didn't have much luck with the 4th gen hangers either. After clamping it all together and hanging it in place, I drove to my local exhaust shop and had them weld it together and use their "Swinging J" hangers, so named because of their shape.

Re: GMMG exhaust

Thanks Al! I have been reading and think I saw that the passenger side hanger works and I just need to buy a 4th gen driver side rear mount and hanger. Does anyone know where I can get one and if that is really all I need? A part # would be great. I just want to have everything ready so I can get this put right on once all of this NY salt is gone. Thanks again!

You need the SLP setup. Part # SLE 30044

Here is what my GMMG looks like with it. It bolts right into the stock bolt holes. Perfect.

Re: GMMG exhaust

Thank you Reid! That is exactly what I thought. I will try to find that bracket at the parts store. What did you do about your Cat? Did you put a flange on the GMMG I-pipe and hook that to the Cat or attach it differently? I just know the 4th gen Cats are before the Y-pipe- unlike the 3rd gen Cat. I really appreciate your input. I just can't wait for this snow and salt to be gone so I can get this in and see how it sounds!

Re: GMMG exhaust

Thank you everyone! Hopefully this goes smoothly. MadHammer is hooking me up with the mount. Can anyone tell me exactly what bolts I need to install the driverside mount pictured above by Reid?
