Hooker LT and AFR210 fitment?
Hooker LT and AFR210 fitment?
I have a 400 SLP with Hooker LTs about to go in my 84 TA. It has AFR210 heads and I understand that the raised exhaust ports may cause slight clearance issues with the LTs. I also intend to replace the engine mounts and again I understand that the poly mounts lift the engine slightly.
Are there any engine mounts that will help in the other direction i.e. lower the engine slightly to compensate for the 210 exhaust ports, if indeed that is a problem.
Thanks

Don't use poly engine mounts, nothing to gain by it and it will increase vibration a lot. Poly is good for the trans mount but you can use rubber and reinforce with hose clamps to keep it from breaking and it will run smoother.
