Inexpensive header/y-pipe kit
Hey guys, I'm building up the carbed 350 in my iroc this winter, I'll be removing the motor and would like to do a budget heads/cam install. That being said, the exhaust in this car is garbage, log manifolds into a hacked up exhaust system. I'd like to find a inexpensive header/y-pipe kit that will fit nice. I don't really want long tubes, shorties are fine.. What do you guys reccomend?

Hooker 2460 and Dougs Y pipe D901. Use dead soft gaskets
You will need to cut off the outlet at the y and weld in a 3 inch for the best performance.

Or make your own, it is not too tough. I think I spent about $150 building this one.
I searched craigslist for used items. Got a cheap flowmaster catback for ~120 2460 headers used but not run for $100 then the Y pipe and gaskets and bolts. The entire thing was about $400

if your car gets inspected you will need shorties with air tubes.
