Corrugated / ribbed flex pipe

Anyone know where I can get some? Not the braided stuff like on Imports, but the ribbed stuff used for like factory EGR tubes. ? I need 2" diameter, under a foot.

I remember in the 80's they sold this stuff in like 8 foot lengths in every auto shop for 'diy exhaust'. I've not seen it in years.

Re: Corrugated / ribbed flex pipe

I bought some a few years back at my local Advance Auto Parts. The local Autozone had it at the time too, just happened to be out of the diameter I needed at the time. I'm pretty sure they still carry it, but haven't looked in a while.

Interesting. I know autozone doesn't carry it but I didn't think to try advance.

Re: Corrugated / ribbed flex pipe

Haven't seen anything like that before, except for the heater pipe connections on my wife's 74 beetle. They are plastic though.

This is what it looks like in 8 foot lengths:

I think the stuff you guys were thinking of was the tailpipe repair. I don't think you can weld that stuff, or use it in the engine bay as it's prone to leak ?

Re: Corrugated / ribbed flex pipe

Yeah the stuff you pictured is what my local advance and auto zone has. They keep it at the back of the exhaust isle on the end, standing straight up, in what looks like a metal trash can.
