Dual Exhaust Build Question
I am currently getting ready to build a dual exhaust set up for my car. I was wondering if it would sound funny if I put one of the mufflers where the factory cat goes and one under the gas tank area like the stock muffler sits. Not sure how sound would be affected with the mufflers being in different locations. Anyone have a set up done like this?

Re: Dual Exhaust Build Question
Have not done that but do know sound will change with the amount of tail pipe after the muffler. Performance wise it may not have any effects if a straight thru type as theytune like collector lengths but a box type muffler like a flowmaster could change the performance slightly on one bank vs the other
Stock cat location is excellent for xpipes if you run shorty headers for duals as you can run pipes down stock path
Driveshaft tunnel and under rear bumper along rear frame rail channels are good for straight thru round type mufflers

Re: Dual Exhaust Build Question
I was planning on using aero chambers. I just don't know if both of them will fit in the cat area under the car.
