Help
Hey Guys, I have 1988 Camaro with a 2.8 L and was wondering if any of you have found an exhaust set up that looks and sounds nice. I just have the stock exhaust and id like to put something a little more modern and with a little better sound... Thanks!

Re: Help
A quick read of the sticky at the top of the exhaust forum may help

The only thing to ignore is for a 2.8L get 2.5 not 3 Otherwise there are literally thousands of posts about this that can be found here

Re: Help
Anyway, a few years back I built a 3.4 v6 4th gen firebird. I can tell you from experience that you DO NOT want a flowmaster lol. It sounded like a fart can on a honda every time I got down on it lol. The sound it made was absolutely embarassing.

I ended up chucking the flowmaster and replacing it with a dynomax ultra flow, but it still didn't sound quite right. I later just went ahead and put the factory muffler back on... I know, not very helpful...
I've heard several v6 f-body owners suggest a cherrybomb muffler... but I have never heard one my self.
A super turbo muffler from dynomax sounds alright, but it is baffled & not a straight through design.
