Exhaust Upgrade ? - Hooker Headers and AIR
Hello All,
I am swapping in a 350 TPI and am going to get some Hooker Headers without the AIR pipes. I have read plenty on here about the 2055 Hookers, but can anybody chime in with their experiences with the more budget friendly 2460s and their Y pipe friend at Summit?

Also, obviously I am going to removing the AIR system...
My question is, if I remove the AIR system can I just block off the AIR tube that is currently going into my catalytic converter? If I weld the tube shut can I keep using that cat without any problems?
Thanks!

They are a slightly different design. The 2460s have thicker walls which may reduce flow. The Y pipe for the 2460 kinda sucks and needs to be modified at the merger although you can use the dougs version.
