What's this thingy? Part of the AIR system?
Recently bought an 86 IROC and the dude took off the TPI and tried to carb the engine. Runs like hell and he gave me all the TPI stuff (I think I got all of it)
Anyway I only got one of these and I know they screw into the exhaust manifold. Are they just part of the AIR system I don't intend to reinstall when I put the TPI back on?
Thanks!

I took them off when put headers on. I removed the entire AIR system and had no side effects at all
