muffler system has arrived fun starts!
my muffler system is here, i was wondering if the new system which is 3 1/5 at the place where it bolts up by the cat will bolt up where my car has a3" exhaust on it now and the one i got is only 2 3/4 . i don't know what the measurment is for the one thats on it now.could someone please help and let me know if it can bolt up to whats there now, if you know what i am talking about.or would it be easier to keep the same midpipe but just change the muffler. the muffler has 2 1/2 in and outs would that setup give me some extra horse?right now the car has a stock muffler on it.

Dynomax makes a LOT of stuff. They don't have a 3" catback. A catback would have 1 part number. They have a 2.5" system and a stock replacement 2.75" system that is meant for the 350 TPIs. If you want a 3" system you have to get the part number for each pipe and the muffler. Give them all the part number and then you get the 3" system. I did a lot of research and got all the part numbers for the 3" system. I can post them if anyone wants when I get home.
