ok here it is. I have an 89 TA with dual cats and I was looking at putting a mac cat back in but its for a single cat exhaust. can use a single cat system with my dual cat converters...what would I have to modify if anything, if not what model/brand should I buy...i was going to go with flowaster but i want dual tips.

 

Glad you brought it up .I was thinking the same thing about my 89 formula. I checked the hooker system , but that also does not fit dual cats. Flowmaster does offer a single 3" in with dual 2 1/2 " out but its $100.00 more expensive than their single out system. I was thinking of going with the flowmaster single system and splitting it off after the muffler and running dual 3" pipes out the left rear side. If you find any more info let me know . I'll do the same-- moxman---

 

well, seeing how i was going to swap out the headers anyway, i might go with there $300 header kit, buy a high-flow cat at CAP, and the hooker cat-back to go along with it....the header kit comes with the y-pipe to connect to the single cat.....
