passin' smog questions. ..

Haven't smogged my GTA since I bought it. It's bone stock, but I know the valve seals need to be replaced (some white smoke upon startup only).
Will that affect my passing smog? Any tips on what I should upgrade etc, to ensure passing? Thanks.

When I still had my 87, I had the same problem with smoking as the car started up, but I passed emissions testing just fine. Then South Florida got rid of the testing

I have the same problem with smoking when the car is first started (loose rings). I passed smog last year at a test only station with no problems. Just make sure its good and warmed up before you test.

The valve seal white smoke will not prevent you from passing the smog check. Just make sure you are at operating temperature.
