Pros and cons of gutting or removing cat?
I'm getting headers and 3 inch exhaust soon and I don't really want to pay 100 plus for a high flow cat so I was considering just removing mine or gutting it. Where I live we have no emissions tests to pass so I'm not worried about that, but if they're are any down falls I'd like to hear them before I go through with it. Thanks,
Brad

Only downfalls I heard of is slightly louder exhaust (If you consider that a downfall, I dont)
And your exhaust will smell a little bit more gasy.

Plus side, you save some money and free up a couple of HP. Down side, pollution. But I doubt your concerned about that.
