What are the size and thread on these bolts on the exhaust manifold

If I recall correctly they are 5/16. You can get the correct studs in the help section at any parts store.

On earlier cars anyway, they were 3/8"-16.

DEFINNITELY NOT 5/16" in any case.

Wire-brush that real good, grease it, and screw a nut up on it. Whatever size nut fits, that what size it is.
