327 shorty headers

Will 327 headers fit on a 305?

They should bolt on but you need thirdgen specific headers to clear the frame

Those headers won't fit a 305. They're for a LSx motor, not for a "327". So if you have a 305 they're totally out of the question regardless of "frame".

Beyond that, the usual problem with "clear the frame" isn't the header itself, it's the way the outlet is pointed. Even though the header itself might "fit", if it's impossible to route a headpipe away from it without hitting something, it's no good to you.
