ZZ4 header recommendations
Just swapping to ported ZZ4 heads and cam. My hedman's will be blocking a lot of the port, so need another compatible set. What's recommended?

Dons is a great and popular choice with the 1 3/4 primary. Or if L/T Hooker 2210 or Dougs 3321.

Re: ZZ4 header recommendations
Dyno Don's 1 3/4 headers and y-pipe. His headers are made to work with ANY head ports, along with the raised ports. They will work with both Angle and Straight plug heads too. They are, by far, the best fitting and easiest to install shorty header available for our third gens. Just make sure you use the recommended ARP 5/16" headed header bolts, and the recommended Earls gaskets. They are ball collector design, so they don't use collector gaskets.

BUMP.
I'm in too big of a hurry and too small of a budget for Don's. I need something a tad cheaper that comes with a Y pipe, will bolt up to these heads, has no emissions, and I can get here in a decent amount of time. Shorties are preferred.

Re: ZZ4 header recommendations
I have not personally tried the OBX shorty header, but the OBX longtube is a really nice header for the money.

Now what is interesting is these headers say they are 1 5/8" primary. The long tubes are advertised as 1 5/8" as well, but they all measure 1 3/4". So these could very well be the same deal. I find evidence in the pictures - the flanges look the same, the primary tubes look about the same as on the long tubes.
If someone were to try them they could be a decent replacement for SLP headers, which are no longer made.
If given the option, i'd go with stainless headers. Even if they discolor over time, it's better than the ceramic coating falling off and they won't rot from the inside out like mild steel headers.
