Can you pass emissions with headers?

Done it for the past 3 years. If your car has all of the AIR crap you'll need to get a set of headers with AIR fittings. Thats about it. The headers are not going to effect your emissions readings at all, just flow better.

As said above, the headers you install must be 50-state legal and/or smog legal for the state you live in to be able to pass smog. Any headers will pass smog, really, but if your smog inspection includes a visual portion, you will fail if your headers arent smog legal. Good smog legal headers include SLP, Hooker, Hedman, and Dynomax.

i feel sorry for all your guys who have to get the sniffer test...here as long as you have a muffler with no holes in it, your lights and horn work, and your brakes are good you pass state inspection...
