Can you buy brand new "factory style" exhaust?

As the title states. I want to put a factory style exhaust back on my car. It currently has Hooker exhaust on it. I prefer putting the car back to stock at this moment rather than mod it.

What all are you looking for? like everything from manifolds to tips? you could post in the items wanted section and find some old parts that someone removed. Im about to remove my LG4 manifolds and Y pipe, but it smaller than what your L98 would have came with from the factory.

I am looking for everything except for the manifolds. Mine was single cat from the factory.

I believe so. I will have to check it tomorrow. Just looking ahead right now for when I have the time and money to do it.

I would just post in the wanted section, someone should have what you are looking for, also make a Cralislist add in your area looking for it, you never know what people have laying around

I believe "Walker" makes parts as close as you will find to "stock" brand new.
Here's a few parts they make.
By the way "Summit Racing" is hard to beat when it comes to buying parts for your car. Ask for a free catalog.

Walker, aka Dynomax, is indeed about as close to stock as you're going to get.

You might have to piece it together instead of being able to get it as a system.

AFAIK there is no stock replacement Y-pipe available on the market but I could be wrong. If you don't have that, you're going to have to find a used one. Try the classifieds on this site. You should be able to get all the parts starting with that cat though.

Re: Can you buy brand new "factory style" exhaust?

looks like the y pipe may still be available through RA, along with the full Dynomax cat-back. I cannot confirm that this Y is the correct one for the TPI though.

The kit I installed several years ago was 3" up to the 2 1/2" inlet into the muffler. 'OK' for a stock system.

Recommend purchasing new hangars with the kit. Walker also usually offers a rebate in the Spring.

Like everyone just mentioned, you'll have to piece one together, or get very lucky and find a well preserved original.
