still need to know this...just got a Catco 2.5 in Direct fit Cat...So upgrading to a different Cat is out of the question...

you have to find a way to cut off part of the 3" pipe and have a 2 1/2 flange welded up to it so that the two 2 1/2s bolt up, this is what my edelbrock looks like
