Nut size for Y Pipe U Bolts...

Whats the nut size for the U Bolt on the Stock Y Pipes?


(L98, stock manifolds, etc..)

Im not sure what part you're asking about. I can't really think of anything that would be called a "U-bolt" Maybe if you rephrase that we can help.

And, to clarify, the part im asking about...


The Ypipe connects to the stock exhaust manifolds with a flange setup (i guess it's called that...)

the bolt is in a U Shape, that holds the Y Pipe to the stock manifold.

2 Nuts on the bottom secure the Y pipe to the manifold.

Was wondering the nut size...

rezinn, are you sure about that? i just replaced my stock y-pipe with an SLP one, and 9/16 was too small, with 5/8 too big...i found 15mm to fit perfectly...

It was 15mm on my 85 Z-28 w/LG-4.
