Louder 40 or 80 Flows

Which are louder 40's or 80's Flowmasters? I heard the 80's were. I want an agressive and loud exhaust but not rice which series is best for that. I am looking for Flowmaster though because I can get the best deal with a Flowmaster from the muffler shop than other brands.

I just put in a 3" in dual 3" out 80 series on my 82 z-28. Its not that loud at all, I had 2.25 exhaust and a cherry bomb glass pack which was noticeably louder.
