Anybody ever installed side exhaust or seen a good side exhaust on a 3rd Gen ?
I am not talking about the cheesy cheap stuff

All I have ever seen are the cheap ones. I don't think the body line on the 3rd gen really lend its self to side pipes but thats just my opinion. Picture not mine

 

Ground effects and side pipes do not blend well, but I have seen a few 3rd gens without effects that looked okay...

 

I have to agree about the looks aspect of side pipes also but thats why I asked
My thoughts are/were that side pipes may solve the true dual exhaust issues
of ground clearance and performance
I would have them ceramic coated in a dull grey or flat black color so they wouldnt really draw a lot of attention
The link I posted was just to show a true header side pipe combo
I would buy/fabricate the pipes similar to the old original Shelby Cobra
