Building your own intermediate pipe

Building your own intermediate pipe
Has anyone built their own intermediate pipe out of various individual, pre-bent exhaust elbows or are the angles too complex? It looks to me that you could use a 45 degree before the rear axle, a 90 degree over top of the axle then another 90 to turn into the muffler. Maybe it's not worth the hassle but it would open up the possibility of using larger diameter tubing that isn't available in a pre-made I-pipe. Thanks!

Yeah, I don't have any shops around here that can do mandrel bends that I know of. I was wanting to doing stainless so that's why I was looking at using pre-bent elbows. I don't know of anyone that makes a stainless I-pipe that you can buy without buying a whole kit.
