Intermediate Intermediate I-pipe :P
Hey guys
Anybody know any places online that sell a 3" exhaust pipe with a 4 bolt flange on one end to mate my I-pipe to my Y-pipe?
Local places dont sell it, and jegs/summit dont have one either

uhg
Read again plz
The Intermediate pipe needs to be connected to the Y pipe (4 bolt flange)
there's a gap
I could cut the flange and go 2 bolt, or whatevers necissary, I just gotta bridge the gap, while being able to disassemble the exhaust to work on the underside of the car/tranny/whatever

ok. ic now. I got a piece of pipe from the muffler shop for $5. he used the pipe expander on one end of the 3" pipe. Is the end of your Y pipe expanded or did the cat go over the 3" y pipe?

I'm guessing the cat would slip over that. I think that's how mine was. So get a 3" pipe, longer than you need, or measuer good. Have the muffler shop flare 1 end of it with the pipe expander, get two 3" clamps, cut off the 4 bolt connector of your I pipe. put the new pipe on, maybe hacksaw it to fit right. boom. done.

Thats a good idea
but if i follow correctly that would be flairing both ends of the new bridging pipe..
The flair at the I-pipe end would interupt flow because you'd have the flat face of the hack sawed off flange protruding into the new pipe.
