Ok well I picked up my Flowtech 49-state legal ceramic headers today and they dont have AIR injection fittings. I thought that you needed AIR injection fittings to be legal. Here in Vacouver we have to pass emissions so I think I might need the AIR but then again if I change all my sensors and switch to a 3-way cat, I can pass emissions without AIR right? AIR doesnt do that much does it? Any suggestions or experience with these headers?

P.S. and whats with the disgusting Y-pipe? it looks like the factory design only mandrel bent!

 

UPDATE: I got in contact with Flowtech and they said that to be 49 state legal you dont need the AIR injection.

 

where did you get your flowtechs from....how much?

 

Actually i got them here in Canada at Canadian Tire for $550 Canadian, ceramic coated with y-pipe, which is very good considering the quality level (well except the y-pipe). $420 canadian painted w/ y-pipe. Very good header for the $$$
