Best muffler???

I want to build myself an exhaust system. I'm going to get a stainless 3" I-pipe and put a muffler on it. I need to know what muffler flows the best? I'd really prefer the muffler to be stainless as well. I've heard a few good things about magnaflow, but where can you get these? I also want one tailpipe on each side, so that rules out SLP, plus I don't like their sound that much. Random Technology seems to make good stuff too, but the only stainless stuff they make is for 4th gens, but just a 4th gen muffler should fit with no problems right? Please give as much input as possible, it just seems that no one has that "perfect" exhaust. Thanks.

I'd have to Recommend Magnaflow....I work at an auto auction and I've heard and driven F-bodies with SLP, Borla, Hooker, Maganflow...ect. And I personally was very surprised at how good the magnaflow sounded and performed. Plus from what I hear it's pretty inexpensive. Obviously Borla is the best, but also the most expensive, so price/performance Magnaflow has my vote.

I would vote magnaflow too. I just got one on my car and I really like it. Its not as loud as some of the others, but it has a really nice sound. It flows good too, an they do make stainless steel mufflers. I got mine at a local independent exhaust shop. Just call some exhaust places and ask for it. I got everything from the cat back installed for about $340. Thats for stainless steel 3" mandrel bent pipe, magnaflow stainless muffler, and mandrell bent 2.5" exit pipes. The exit pipes are on both sides.

I LOVE my 80 series flowmaster, it added some power(about 3 mph in the 1/4) and it isn't to loud in the car, but from behind or on hte side of the car you can just feel it on your chest. REALLY NICE!
