ques. about cats . . .

hey guys, just wanted to know-do cats make a big diff. in hp???
i was thinking about getting one but wanted to know if it is worth the while-I already have a flowmaster 80 series on my car-
and if it does make a diff. which brands are good?
thanks,

The way you worded it, are you asking if cats gain you HP? or am I reading it wrong. A hi-flo one will hardly rob you of any power, plus it's good for the environment.

I hate the bastards

though my car comes stock with three of the things inline

took them off put in a straight pipe and noticed a BIG difference and also notice that on the exhaust at just a idle you can feel the pulses a lot stronger now and not blocked near as much
