how much do you think a shop would charge.....

how much do you think a shop would charge to install headers and dual exhaust on my camaro. Is it possible for them to install headers and just attach it to my stock exhaust system and let me take care of the dual exhaust scince all i got to do is attach pipes and muffulers together?????????????????????????????????????

i have a 84 Z28 with a 71 350

I paid about $200 to have my headers installed by a wrench who was very experienced with this.

Dual exhaust would cost more $$$ and it would help if you already had the parts.

Assuming you have the Y-pipe, you can get the headers installed and do the rest of the exhaust later.

that doesnt seem like a bad idea. I think I will have my headers installed by someone. But, will it hurt my car to drive home with "open" headers.. then when I get home I will put on the rest?

It cost me $250 alone just for duals and flowmasters. I put the headers on myself.....that was the easiest thing I've done. balancer pipe was $30.

It wont hurt anything driving home with open headers. Except for some old ladie's ears if you drive by them. Its LOUD!!!!!! (my car set off three different car alarms at pretty far distances when I floored it at a stop sign). You'll also probably get pulled over if a cop hears ya. Just be careful
