I need to choose gaskets for the 2055 headers I am putting on my stock '83 LG4. I have searched here, but am still uncertain. I think I have 187 heads, but what shape are they in regards to the gaskets I need? As I understand it, I should get gaskets based on the exhaust head shape and size...

The 2055's are oval, approx. 1.3" x 1.5". I am thinking either the Fel-pro 1406, which are oval shaped like the headers... on the other hand, the 1404's are squarish shape which might better conform to the exhaust ports.
