I am crushed my outer pipe is crushed. I cannot believe GM did that. But I have seen it on other GM's, like the CTS-V has a flattened pipe for ground clearance..
But then they crushed the outer pipe to be concave, to achieve more fender clearance.
Yeah, that’s a shame. A non crushed outer pipe was probably worth…5-10HP at the most. It kept the F-body 5.7L TPI with N10 behind the “250hp” Corvette (coupes with perf axle ratio) in ‘90. The unwritten rule was no car at GM could have more HP than the Corvette. That’s why the ‘89 20th Anniv. Turbo T/A was rated at only 250hp. The real rating was closer to 300hp.

I would say 2.5HP, because only 1 pipe is crushed, not both..
