Looking for exhaust advice

Hey everyone,
I am looking for some advice/guidance on finding a dual head-back set up for 1989 firebird with a BluePrint Engine GM 5.8L 355 C.I.D. 385 HP. It seems every dual exhaust that was out there is discontinued. Such as Hooker BlackHeart 70501339-RHKR Hooker BlackHeart Engine Swap Exhaust Kit (holley.com). I went and contacted multiple sites in hopes they carried on stock and none did all got theirs from the manufacture. Besides buying U-Fit/DIY piping does anyone know of any other complete Dual Exhaust kits for 89 firebird? Been looking for the last 3 days with not much luck.

Also am open to a good quality single set up that will play together but really in the blind, tried calling Summit and did not find the help I was hoping.
I am trying to keep total cost (not install) around $2000-$2500

Alot of links I have been finding on old forum pages go to pages that don't exist any more.

Thanks for any assistance

magnaflow has a pretty nice single cat back setup. Youd have to think of a y pipe / cat solution though. I

Re: Looking for exhaust advice

Your power levels are still in the range where a single 3" system will support your power. You could always do with a mufflex 3.5" single system if you plan to add more power later. At your power level I would stay away from duals. They are a nightmare. I retrofitted a 4th gen speed engineering kit to my car and am still tweaking it to this day. Meaning, its loud, and it drones. I've only increased the money spent by swapping mufflers and adding resonators. Granted, the more power you make the louder it will be but if I had to do it all over again I would have went with a single mufflex 4" system and called it a day. Now I have something that will supoort all the power in the world, but cost 7X what the mufflex system does.

Re: Looking for exhaust advice

Just in case anyone wanted to know, I did decide against the dual just seem like it was going to be a bigger headache then I wanted.
I ended up going with American Racing Headers and Hawks Motorsports Two Out The Left, still unique enough and sound amazing from what I have heard. Hopefully will sound just as good on my when I receive.
Will be quite a few weeks (8-12 Lead time) before I get the headers but figure might as well get a quality product and hopefully not have to do this again anytime soon lol.

Thanks to those who responded.
