Getting ready to put my car back together. I had to repair the wire harness underneath the exhaust manifolds next to the exhaust pipe. I have also had to replace the starter many times which I think is related to too much heat soaking. Being a V6 it has the stock Y pipe to the two exhaust manifolds. I want to pipe wrap the pipe to better protect the main engine harness and the starter. Which brand/type is the best and how many feet should I order to cover the Y pipe from the manifolds down to and including the Y joint?

just stop at your local autozone and get a roll of that het sheild wrap.
