dyno 2000 exhaust question
dyno 2000 exhaust question
I was wondering, if I ran hooker long tube headers and a 3" in/out dr gas x pipe from them to 2 dynomax bullet mufflers and madrell bent turndowns what would best predict the power it would make on dd 2000. I know there is a large tube header with muffler option but I didnt know if that was supposed to be with stock style mufflers or what size exhaust or what. I have also been told that some parts of the program are not verry accurate and that you have to compensate. I just dont see there option for small tube headers open exhaust flowing better than what I described. Tell me what you think or have figured out.

If you actually bought the program
then you should read the instruction manual. If you don't have it, then go to www.motionsoftware.com and DL it.
There's a full explanation of how to use those options. I could tell you now, but all I'd be doing is quoting the instruction manual.
It pretty much tells you how to underestimate the sizes, which is better for a program like that. That way you get underestimated numbers than your motor will actually make. And that's good.

I did buy the program, but I cant find the box. It has been a while since I bought it. For some reason the manual is not wanting to download online so it would be good if someone could tell me what to use.
