experience with different materials???

Any one experienced with different steeltubes between the cat and the muffler?
thinking about changing the stainless one to a normal tube. I think it will make the exhaust note a bit smoother because the material is not so strong.
any thoughts?
thanks!

I don't think it will be much of a difference. Obviously carbon steel is softer than stainless, and will absorb more noise and resonance, but I don't think it would be enough to notice.
