problem with headers

problem with headers
i put the edelbrock tes headers on my 305 tbi engine and on the passenger side there is a braket thatgoes from the i think 3rd header bolt to the compresser. it doesn't go on with the headers. will this be ok or no and if not wut shoul i do

Odd I cant recal there being a problem with brackets. Usually when you order headders there is a list of extensions and aftermarket brackets to make install easyer. Did you have an option list?
You probably could make it work with washers or bolts staked on top of each other to extend the bracket. I would check around for the proper bracket.
