Sensor......

What is the sensor on the passenger side of the engine between the #1 and #3 plugs? I need a new one because I broke mine putting headers on. What is the part number? Oh yeah my car is an 84 z28 L69.Thanks Derek

I know exactly what it is since I did it when I was installing my headers in my 1988 IROC. Its the Fan Switch. You are better off buying an aftermarket fan switch that will turn your fans on earlier. You will also need a lower thermostat. This may not seem like too much of a power gain but a cooler engine is a happy engine.

Passenger side? between #1 and #3? 1&3 is on the drivers side and if its on the drivers side bettween 1 and 3 it is the coolent temp sensor for your gauge in side your car.. but if it is on the passenger i belive it is the fan switch, i know mine is located between the 6 and the 8 for the fan switch but i dont know for tpi
