get some polishing compound for stainless steel, grab a clean rag and have fun. You'll be polishing for a while before the shine really shows. I just kinda gave up on mine and stopped doing it.

Eagle One makes Neverdull.

It's that cotton candy looking stuff. It works well on everything that I've used it on.

Yup. Stainless is not fun to polish to get that "bling bling" look. But just a little work can improve the out of the box appearance.

Do not use polish on the SLP tail pipes, because you will work your butt off. First use a fine grain sand paper to remove the as
rolled finish from the stainless steel until it is as bright as you want it. You can then polish it, but it is not needed, the stainless
will not discolor. That is the easy way and they look good.

Don't try to use sand paper on stainless steel. It's like trying to sand a car down to bare metal by using 1500 grit with baby oil on it. Or at least that's what it would feel like. Stainless is one of the hardest, most dense, heaviest metals out there, short of iron.

And you think that stainless steel doesn't discolor?!?!?!?! LMFAO!!! :sillylol:

I have a stainless steel tip that I can send to you and prove that it discolors, oh..... and rusts!!!!! I made it outta 16 guage cold rolled stainless that came straight from the manufacture. Put it on my S-10, and not even 8 mos later, it's a hazy sorta brown color, and has rust aroung the edges. It doesn't rust away as fast as steel, but it does rust and discolor.

Trust me on the NeverDull. It'll give you the best result with the least amount of effort. It's not a polish, but a cleaner. It works great.

Everyone to their method, but it worked for me and its been over a year now. Not every grade of stainless steel is the same, also
we are talking about SLP pipe's ONLY.
