Catco group purchase

Hi, not to get your hopes up when you saw the subject...But I was wondering if there is a way to get a group purchase on Catco Catalytic Converters. I really want one and I think a lot of people on this board want one too. Also possibly a Hooker Cat-back group purchase would be nice

catco group purchase

Well, I want a 3" hi-flow cat for an 87 GTA 350. And I want the hooker Cat-back 3" all the way back, I am not sure of the part number. I know that when we had the SLP group purchase there were a couple people who wanted a catco group purchase. I was one of them. But I just got my W2 form and will find out how much money I am getting back, I have my eye set on hooker catback, high flow cat, and spohn subframe connecters. If there is a way to get a group purchase on the SFC's too that would be great. Thanks for trying to help.

catco group purchase

Nice car. I am hoping to get around $400 back from taxes. hopefully we can get a group purchase going, then we might be able to get the cat, cat-back, and SFC's for around 4-5 hundred. ...Gosh that would be great. Do you have the stock exhaust on your car still? Because I measured mine and it's 2 3/4 inches OD. I was wondering if that was stock. how much did you pay for your car....got any pics of it

How does the catco piece compare to the random technologies piece?? I originally wanted to get a random cat, but if the catco is comparable, I might join in on the group purchase.

Yeah SFC's, Hooker catback and a cat would be great espcially for $400-500. Paid $3750, I have pics but theyre not on the web yet, and the exhaust is still stock (yuk). Oh well, it still sounds meaner than my moms car

I'd be interested in the a 3inch in/out Catco Converter, or any other converter as long as it's 3inch and cheap.

I would suggest getting a CarSound Cat instead of a Catco. You can get the CarSound for about $60 and they dyno better than the Random Tech cat which is "supposed" to be the best cat available. But the RT cat cost over $200. I have dynoed all three cats and the CarSound was the best one. The Catco only gave me 1-2 HP more than the stock cat did.

Summit has catco's 3 inch/out for $51. It is a universal type one though. That's the one I"m going to be getting.

hey jfreeman! This is kinda off the subject but, how do you like your exhaust system? I won't have headers for a while, but I'm planning on getting a carsound cat and random tech exaust. I was thinking of going with no cat, but I thought it might be too loud with random tech exaust. Just wondering how you like the sound/performance of it. thanks man.

I have seen a lot of people going with the Catco cats but I would highly recommend the CarSound cat. The Random Technology cat has been one of the best cats you could get but they are too expensive. Now there is the CarSound cat the outperforms the RT cat. I have never heard anyone prove that the Catco outperformed the RT. Carsound is about 5HP better than RT.
brian89transam - I highly recommend the RT catback. But you definitely need to install a cat. I haven't had my car dynoed yet but once I do I will post the numbers.
