headers and exhaust
Which header should I buy? The super comp Hooker header or the SLP? If SLP what size? Keep in mind I get to enjoy the California restrictions. I am looking for sound and performance. How will my car sound with the new headers, free-flow cat, and an 80s series Flow? I want it to be deep and loud.

I say if you're not getting a cat-back, get the Hooker Aero Chamber muffler. With headers and a new muffler you're car will definately be louder, if you want louder get a cat-back.

It won't be "deep" with the Flow 80. They have a unique sound when the revs and power increase - some call it tin-ie.
Loud is in the ear of the beholder, but I think mine is loud. At least, my wife says she hears my arrival home when she didn't used to. Personally, I'll take free flowing and quiet to free flowing and loud any day.
