Where in jersey are you? I can install them for ya in a half of a day. Ill give ya a better price, bein an f-body brother!
BTW: you NEVER weld the y pipe to the cat... if you do, youll have to drop the whole y pipe to get to the starter/tranny!

Woops, the exhaust shop welded mine on, I had to have a pipe that fit from the Y to the cat though. When my brother and I installed the headers on the 305 I had we just bolted everything up.
Let's supposed for a second that you don't weld the y-pipe to the cat. What are you going to remove to get to the starter? The y-pipe... What's the difference if the cat comes along for the ride or not? It's still two bolts (either two on the clamp, or two on the flange)..

Well, if your car is welded on to the intermediate pipe like it is on my GTA cause some *** didnt put it in right a couple years ago, you wont wanna weld up the y-pipe. The reason I wouldnt weld the cat to anything is that if it clogs and you need a new one, or you wanna hollow it, yor kinda up ****s creek...
