Ravin catback??

ok i have been shopping around for headers and a cat back lately, and i desided to screw the AIR fittings and go with some Hooker Comp long tubes,BUT the only draw back....custom Y pipe is needed. I went to my local shop, they told me if i instaled the headers, they would do the custom Y pipe, high flow cat, and a 3'' Ravin exaust for 450.I have never heard of Ravin before, he said its top of the line at the moment. That sound like a good deal? MY PLAN was to just get the custom Y pipe made, then do a 3'' hooker cat back myself in the driveway, but thats just clamp on, not welded like the shop would do. Opinions??

I don't know how big ravin is, but I've heard a few clips of them and it sounds pretty good. There are a few people here that have it I think....

I've got 3" ravin exhaust on my 84 and it has a nice quality rumble to it. Sounds great when you hammer on it.

I dont know how much they cost I got my ravin with a full 3"
exhaust at a wrecker for $15 cdn. They apparently flow better
than flowmaster and dynomax. Check out this site for more info

I have the 3" Ravin Catback on my 350 TPI IROC and I like it. The only thing I don't like is the tips. Pics are on my webpage in the sig. If you want more info, just ask.
